Nechako River Physical Data Summary 1986 (M88-1)
Prepared by S. Blachut and G. Faulkner, DFO
The objective of this report is to compile all available 1986 meteorological and
hydrological data for the Nechako River. This is part of an ongoing commitment to provide
a consistent data base for analysis and interpretation of Nechako River data. It is the
second in an ongoing series of reports compiling Nechako physical data, following the
summary of 1985 data presented by Blachut (1986).
These data have been collected by various agencies and companies, including Atmospheric Environment Service, Water Survey of Canada, Aluminium Company of Canada Limited, Envirocon Pacific limited, and Fisheries and Oceans. Data sources where available are cited in the report, but in some cases this report is the only published record of these data. For data which are published elsewhere, the primary source is cited, and the numbers have been carefully checked to ensure no discrepancies. All data for the calendar year of 1986 are included, with the exception of accumulated degree data which are calculated for the winter of 1985/86.
Nechako River Physical Data Summary 1987 (M88-2)
Prepared by S. Blachut and G. Faulkner, DFO
The objective of this report is to compile all available 1987 meteorological and
hydrological data for the Nechako River. This is part of an ongoing commitment to provide
a consistent data base for analysis and interpretation of Nechako River data. It is the
third in an ongoing series of reports compiling Nechako physical data; Blachut (1986), and
Blachut and Faulkner (1990).
All data for the calendar year of 1987 are included, with the exception of accumulated degree data which are calculated for the winter of 1986/87.
Nechako River Physical Data Summary 1988 (M88-7)
Prepared by S. Blachut and G. Faulkner, DFO
The objective of this report is to compile all available 1988 meteorological and
hydrological data for the Nechako River. This is part of an ongoing commitment to provide
a consistent data base for analysis and interpretation of Nechako River data. It is the
fourth in an ongoing series of reports compiling Nechako physical data; Blachut (1986),
and Blachut and Faulkner (1990a), and Blachut and Faulkner (1990b).
All data for the calendar year of 1988 are included, with the exception of accumulated degree data which are calculated for the winter of 1987/88.
Nechako River Physical Data Summary 1989 (M89-5)
Prepared by Gail Faulkner, DFO April 1993
All available 1989 meteorological and hydrological data for the Nechako River are
presented. These data include observations of air temperature, water temperature and
discharge volumes. The data for the period of record have been updated and compared with
the 1989 data. The long term air temperature record indicates that 1989 was a warmer year
than average. Mean monthly water temperatures were also slightly warmer than the long term
average. The unregulated flows of the Nautley River, Stuart River, and the flows at all
stations on the Nechako River were lower than the long term average.
Nechako River Physical Data Summary 1990 (M90-5)
Prepared by M. Anderson and G. Faulkner, DFO April 1993
All available 1990 meteorological and hydrological data for the Nechako River are
presented. These data include observations of air temperature, water temperature and
discharge volumes. The data for the period of record have been updated and compared with
historical data. The long term air and water temperature records indicate that 1990 was a
warmer year than average when compared to historical means.
Nechako River Physical Data Summary 1991 (M91-5)
Prepared by M. Anderson and G. Faulkner, DFO April 1993
All available 1991 meteorological and hydrological data for the Nechako River are
presented. These data include observations of air temperature, water temperature and
discharge volumes. The data for the period of record have been updated and compared with
historical data. The long term air temperature record indicates that 1991 was a warmer
year than average. Mean monthly water temperatures were also slightly higher when compared
to historical means.
